One Butterfly, 8 Photo's.

It's SunFlower Days In The Garden

Anyone who knows me, knows I love Sunflowers.  I believe that sunflowers will be one energy source of the future.  So it was with great zealotness that I photographed the annual opening of my first sunflowers of the season early this morning......There are some sunflower photo's that resemble a human eye. The resemblence is uncanny.  Check 'em out.

Pears Right Off The Backyard Tree....And Pear Crisp

The claw...This tool is as old as the hills, it's an antique I'm sure, and gets the job of pear picking done.
I see some Pear Crisp in my future.....Yummy for my Tummy.

The caterpillar was on one of the pear leaves I picked, so I'm thinking it's a pear caterpillar that eats pear leaves....
Go figure huh?

The preparation for making pear crisp pie......

Yummy.

Tornado Warning Storm Clouds One Day......Sunny & Sun Flowers The Next Day

So  comparing and contrasting one day to the next in this photo blog is like night and day. Yesterday there were tornado warnings and sirens blaring and then a rainy deluge, today the sun is shining brightly, the sunflowers are happy and growing from the much needed rain. The farmers(and gardeners) are happytoo.  That's the way it was moving west I guess, and farming and gardening and planting and the whole outdoor experience.
