Tommy and the Mouse

My cat is  a good mouser/moler/voler  That's why he's an indoor outdoor cat.

That's what farm cats do.  They earn their keep, the same way a border collie earns his keep.
They work.

The Major TOM......The Butterfly......And The Sunflowers

This is the cat that came back after being on a 3 week haitus/ excursion/ vacation/ from home who we were worried sick over.

This is the butterfly that landed on a leaf as I walked around looking for new wildflower arrangements.

This is the sunflower that will eventually become bird food and human food for me.This is the Sunflower I cut down today so the goldfinches could have some black niger sunflower seeds to munch on and be happy.

Yippppee....My Pussy Is Back !!!!!

In honor of my fat cat coming back after being gone for 3 weeks this blogpost is for Tommy.....( his official name is "Major Tom" ((To Ground Control"))

He caused us much anguish as we looked high and low and put up fliers all over the neighborhood.  We had given him up for dead. And then early this morning as I walked past the door, there he was standing on the welcome mat, wanting in. Like a robot I opened the door, let him in, gave him some food because he was MEOWWWWWWing to High Heaven and cried tears of joy.....He was none the worse for wear.  He was not beat up scractched up or kicked to the curb, looking like he had been rode hard and put up wet.  Nothing like that. He did lose a little weight tough.

After being fed and given a bath, Tommy was baaaaacccccccck and we are so excited.
